Connection requests are often the first step in a LinkedIn outreach campaign. DoReach lets you send requests with or without a personalized note, depending on your strategy.

Connection requests without a note
By default, DoReach sends connection requests without a note.
Many LinkedIn users prefer this approach because it feels less promotional and often results in higher acceptance rates for cold outreach.

Adding a personalized note
If you'd like to include a message, enable the Connection Note option when configuring the step. Keep your note short, relevant, and personal. You can also use personalization variables such as:
  • First name
  • Company
  • Job title
Remember that LinkedIn limits connection notes to 300 characters.

Mobile Connection Requests
DoReach also supports Mobile Connection Requests.
This method sends the request using LinkedIn's mobile experience, which may help in situations where standard web connection requests are limited.

Best practices
  • Don't try to sell in your connection request.
  • Keep notes short and conversational.
  • Personalize when it adds value, but avoid overusing variables.
  • Follow up only after the connection request has been accepted.
