Understanding Account Warmup

Account Warmup helps new or inactive LinkedIn accounts build activity gradually instead of performing a large number of actions from the first day.
This reduces the chance of triggering LinkedIn's automated security checks and allows your account to develop a more natural activity pattern.

Why warmup matters
LinkedIn expects accounts to build activity over time. If a new account suddenly starts sending dozens of connection requests every day, it may attract unwanted attention.
Warmup gradually increases your daily activity, helping your account establish a consistent history before running larger campaigns.

How warmup works
During the warmup period, DoReach automatically keeps your activity below your configured account limits.
As your account becomes more established, the number of daily actions increases until your normal limits are reached.
Once warmup is complete, your campaigns continue using your regular account settings without any additional changes.

Who should use warmup?
Warmup is recommended if:
  • You're connecting a brand-new LinkedIn account.
  • Your account hasn't been active for a long time.
  • You're starting LinkedIn automation for the first time.
  • You're returning after a LinkedIn restriction.
Older accounts with a long history of regular activity may require a shorter warmup period, but a gradual approach is still recommended.

Recommended approach
While every account is different, it's generally a good idea to:
  • Start with low daily activity limits.
  • Increase limits gradually over several weeks.
  • Monitor your account for any security warnings or unusual activity.
  • Focus on quality outreach instead of high volume.

Building trust with LinkedIn takes time, and a gradual increase in activity is usually more effective than trying to scale too quickly.
