Understanding Account Limits

Account limits control how many LinkedIn actions DoReach can perform each day. They help your outreach stay within natural activity levels and reduce the risk of LinkedIn restrictions.
Each connected LinkedIn account has its own limits, allowing you to control activity independently if you're managing multiple accounts.

How account limits work
Instead of sending the same number of actions every day, DoReach lets you set a minimum and maximum value for each activity.
Every day, DoReach randomly selects a number within that range and uses it as that day's limit. This variation helps your account behave more naturally.
For example, if your connection request limit is set to 15–25, DoReach might send 18 requests one day and 22 the next.

Actions you can limit
Depending on your LinkedIn account and plan, you can configure limits for actions such as:
  • Connection requests
  • Messages
  • Profile visits
  • Post likes
  • Following people
  • Following company pages
  • Event invitations
  • Skill endorsements
  • InMail and Email
Not every action is available for every LinkedIn account type.

How to update your limits
To change your account limits:
  1. Open the Accounts page.
  2. Select the LinkedIn account you want to manage.
  3. Open Account Limits.
  4. Update the minimum and maximum values for each action.
  5. Save your changes.
Your new limits will be applied after the next daily reset.

Recommended starting limits
If you're using a new LinkedIn account, it's best to start with conservative limits while your account builds activity over time.
A good starting point is:
  • Connection requests: 15–25 per day
  • Messages: 20–40 per day
  • Profile visits: 20–30 per day
  • Post likes: 10–20 per day
  • Following: 10–20 per day
As your account becomes more established, you can gradually increase these limits if needed.

How limits work with warmup
If Account Warmup is enabled, DoReach gradually increases your daily activity over time. During this period, warmup settings take priority over your configured limits.
Once warmup is complete, your normal account limits are used automatically.

Auto-withdraw pending invitations
DoReach can automatically withdraw connection requests that have been pending for a specified number of days.
This helps prevent your account from accumulating too many unanswered invitations, allowing you to continue sending new connection requests.
If you don't want invitations to be withdrawn automatically, simply leave this setting disabled.

Best practices
  • Use realistic daily limits instead of trying to maximize activity.
  • Increase limits gradually rather than making large changes at once.
  • Let Account Warmup finish before running high-volume campaigns.
  • Review your limits occasionally as your outreach strategy changes.
